23 July, 2009: Watching TT from the Summit
We are about 100 meters from the summit of the day's only climb, watching the riders pass, and eating lots of French groceries.
Tim seems like he is recharging well. We rode the course this morning early (with a few bike path detours enforced by the Gendarmerie), and I was barely able to stay on his wheel in a few places, even though he was taking it easy. A good sign, because tomorrow will be 200 km+, and the day after is Ventoux. Plan is to drive ahead and meet Tim somewhere along the climb, hopefully near the top!
Next update will probably be from somewhere near Ventoux.
